Prostate Problems: How I Found Relief
Twice in my life I have not taken account of my own counsel. The first, some years ago, was when I did not put my dog onto Serrapeptase soon enough to alleviate his pain of arthritis, despite my taking it on a regular basis. I woke up to my folly, but only after he had endured his discomfort for too long. And within, literally, less than a week of his taking two 400 mg capsules of Serrapeptase a day he was able to run and be free of pain. And he stayed that way for the rest of his life. The second time, once again, it took too long. The second time I bailed myself out.

I had an operation for an enlarged prostate in 1998. I had a major battle to have it done, and more fool me, but I did not know then what I know now. For some years, other than a small residue which remained in the bladder after urinating, the medics could find no tangible evidence of any problem in my prostate. They would not put me onto any type of “waiting list” for treatment.  The visiting nurse, seeing my state, made an emergency appointment with the consultant; the best she could get, even privately, was two weeks away. When he saw me the consultant declined to do anything. He used every excuse he could find. I was too young, he said. (Under 60 years old!)There was also the fact that he had no evidence of any problem from the medical tests, despite my assuring him of my needs. He assured me that I did not have a prostate problem and to look elsewhere for a solution. He made no recommendation. I left his consulting room and went immediately to his ward, where he found me some time later on his rounds. There ensued what I can only say was a public slanging match, in front of his staff and a ward full of visitors. This ended with him telling me, in no uncertain Anglo Saxon terms, that, as there was a bed free he would admit me and put me first on his operating list the next morning. However, he threatened me dire consequences if he found nothing! The first thing I knew on coming round from the anaesthetic was a very different and remorseful consultant standing over my head and telling me how lucky I was that “he had caught me just in time”! He had removed more than twice the amount of what a normal sized prostate should have been. And, he assured me later, he expected it grow again, probably within two years. There was no malignancy; just a growth problem.

He was wrong. Within six months, and long before I had recovered from the effects of the delays to deal with my problem and the operation itself, I was back in trouble again. Every car journey was regulated by “pee stops”. Social events were a nightmare. Tea drinking was, and still is, a total “no-no”. Tea seemed to stimulate my bladder even more. And any alternative treatment I knew, for I had been seeking a working solution for some time, simply did not work.

By chance I stumbled on Serrapeptase. I took it, almost in desperation, and, as with the dog later, saw results almost immediately. The improvement was staggering. So, for years, I carried on with Serrapeptase alone, keeping my arthritis at bay as well as enabling me to have as near a normal a life as possible. But it did not overcome the difficulties of having to get up at least twice a night to go to the lavatory or combating cold and running water making me lose control. Then, having seen Prostate Plus in my own catalogue from almost when it arrived, I decided to see if it would help get me back to normal. I took the prescribed dosage and almost straightway settled down to better nights sleep and little or no unwanted stimulation from the cold. A running tap was suddenly no problem. It was wonderful. My life had improved no end. Then, I went away for a week, forgetting to take my Prostate Plus with me. Slowly I drifted back into my bad old ways. And it was especially uncomfortable as it was still winter, bitterly cold and I was on a boat! The sound of running water had me running -  to find somewhere to pee! How glad I was to get back home and the comfort of my Prostate Plus.

For me the combination of both Serrapeptase and Prostate Plus enables me to live my life quite normally, free of any discomfort, not needing to urinate often, especially during the night, and with a good flow. I do know that others can get by with just the one product or the other. There is no golden rule. It is a matter of trial and error. But so well worth the effort. I know from my personal experience.

If I can be of any help to anyone out there who has similar problems, I can, and will, respond to your enquiries. I regret that I cannot offer any diagnosis.
