| Animals and Pain: How to help resolve arthritis and similar inflammatory problems |

Benghi, up to the age of around 10 years old, was fit and active. We walked the Cornish cliffs, ran the beaches and swam in the sea. He loved it and it was hard not to let him have his head. But gradually, despite his sea bathing, an ideal way to alleviate mild arthritic pain, he stiffened up. Within a few months he was on vetinerary drugs which he did not like. They upset him and really, for the cost, the results were little to identify. Finally, one vet said give up the medication and go natural. Why did I not think of this before? I was taking Serrapeptase, so why not the dog? We dropped the well known animal treatment and set about giving Benghi his Serrapeptase. No easy task to get tablets or capsules down him without allowing protein - the one thing that Serrapeptase seeks - to reduce the effects. Finally we managed to hide the tablet in a piece of cheese or chicken skin. He was around 20 Kgs in weight, so a couple of tablets a day, one morning and evening, hidden in one of these disguises, did the trick. Within a week he was a different dog. And remained in good condition for his age until he died of a heart attack some years later. Now we have our two dogs, one a cross the other a Fauve de Bretagne. This latter is prone to arthritis as well. So the odd tablet when we see any onset of the symptoms and he is fine. It is worth bearing in mind that all animals suffer as we humans can; if the climate is damp then they will have an increased tendency to this type of ailment. Serrapeptase is good for all types of animals. Cats, dogs, horses - in fact any animal. The one thing to remember is that Serrapeptase needs to be taken on an empty stomach by all. You cannot overdose but you can underdose. And that often occurs when protein saps the effects of the enzyme. I am always pleased to help. |

If, like me, you have had an animal who has suffered from arthritis, or any other of the many ailments caused by inflammation, you will know how hard it is to watch them suffer. My Labrador/collie cross had all good the traits of both of these breeds - he was a delightfully well tempered dog - but he also had some we would have preferred he did not! He was also prone to arthritis.
